I’m a Calgary-based freelance graphic designer available for contract work, specializing in print design, visual identity, and advertising, with a primary focus on publication design.
I spent 10 years working in magazines and seven years as an in-house designer for a municipal government, and I now continue to support municipalities and organizations on a contract basis. That experience means I’m very comfortable working with complex information, multiple stakeholders, tight timelines, and brand standards that actually matter.
My forte is publications: annual reports, brochures, editorial layouts, and long-form documents that need to be clear, organized, and easy to navigate without sacrificing visual interest. I’m often brought in when a project has a lot of content, a lot of input, and needs someone who knows how to structure it so it makes sense.
Along with that, I have been known to design logos and visual identities, signage and wayfinding, advertising, and supporting digital assets for web and social. I also have experience with light video editing when a project calls for it.
I’m available for freelance and contract projects, and open to the right full-time opportunity. If you have an upcoming project and need a designer who’s comfortable with both the creative and the practical sides of the work, I’d be glad to chat.
